As you all know Steve Jobbs has passed at the age of 56. It cannot be argued against that Mr. Jobs was one of the most iconic, visionary, and transformative business men in our lifetime, maybe in our history. Mr Jobs, truly changed the world for a better. He not only inspired people to push past their limitations, but to meet needs and go behind what they thought wasn’t possible. He lead a cultural transformation in mobile communication and especially music for the digital age.
DJ Chuckie released a mash up the other day after hearing about the news that no one wanted to hear. DJ Chuckie notes that without Steve Jobs, this mash up wouldn’t be possible.
“Respect to the greatest CEO of our generation who simply changed the game!” – DJ Chuckie
Of course it was impossible to connect the dots looking forward when I was in college. But it was very, very clear looking backwards ten years later. Again, you can’t connect the dots looking forward, you can only connect them looking backwards. So you have to trust that dots will somehow connect in your future. You have to trust in something, your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever, because believing that the dots will connect down the road will give you the confidence to follow your heart even when it leads you off the well-worn path, and that will make all the difference. – Steve Jobs, 2005
