Seven Lions Premiers New Single ‘Below Us’ off His Forthcoming “Polarized EP” on BBC Radio 1Xtra’s Drum & Bass Show!

Jeff Montalvo better known as Seven Lions, is a California producer based out of Santa Barbara, and is known for his dubstep productions. One of the tracks off his forthcoming “Polarized EP“, ‘Below Us‘ was featured on BBC Radio 1xtra. When you think of dubstep, you think of deep and chaotic bass that exemplifies the sound, wubwubwubwub. However, a sub genre is emerging from dubstep – progressive dubstep. This can be better described as softer and more mellow, yet still carrying the heavy bass kick when presented. Right now Seven Lions represents one of two pioneers creating the new progressive dubstep sound, the other is Minnesota. Both artists are really talented and already have a huge following.
