Alesso & Dirty South - City Of Dreams

When you have two of the fastest rising stars in dance music join forces, you know there is something big brewing in the cauldron, which all the lucky attendees at EDC New York got to witness. A collaboration between Sweden’s Alesso and Australia’s Dirty South, we’re presented with what is bound to be one of summers hottest and most anticipated releases. The title of the track was confirmed after Dirty South tweeted that the untitled track everyone was asking about after Creamfields would be called “City of Dreams“.

Both Alesso & Dirty South’s style of production are very similar, and blend perfectly with the beautiful male vocals, chords, and synths in “City of Dreams“. It’s one of those tracks where you can stand there with your hands in the air, eyes closed, and just feel a heart warming sensation throughout your whole body, almost as if you’re in a dream, literally. If you ask me, this is a perfect anthem for the summer festivals. Take a listen to the rip below:

Alesso & Dirty South “City Of Dreams” Lyrics
Everything seems like a city of dreams,
I never know why,
But I still miss you.

There she’s standing in a field of lights,
I close my eyes,
And I still miss you.

Uohooooo Ohooooo
And I still miss you,
Uohooooo Ohooooo
And I still miss you.

Everything seems like a city of dreams,
I never know why,
But I still miss you.

There she’s standing in a field of lights,
I close my eyes,
And I still miss you.

Uohooooo Ohooooo
And I still miss you,
Uohooooo Ohooooo
And I still miss you.
