Tommy Trash, known for his remixes and great production work has premiered his rendition of Deadmau5′s The Veldt last night on Pete Tong’s BBC Radio 1. Since the release of Deadmau5′s The Veldt, which will be featured on his upcoming EP released June 25th, it has topped the charts with amazing fashion. Currently, the track is sitting at the #2 spot on Beatport’s overall top 10 just under Dirty South’s remix of Miike Snow’s Devil’s Work. This track has been sitting in the top 10 for a few weeks now, but maybe “The Veldt” will take the top spot within the next few days!
We’re not quite sure when Tommy’s remix will be released. According to sources it will be “out soon”. The remix may not be as good as the original, but Tommy never fails at delivering amazing remixes that we’ve all come to enjoy. With the use of synths and a gradual progression, Tommy took the house down with this premier. If you’re a fan of Tommy Trash, look forward to his upcoming performances at Colours Fest in Glasgow, UK (June) and Creamfields in Liverpool, UK (August). It’s about time we start seeing Tommy at some of the largest music festivals around the world.
